Other than the care you take at home, the most important aspect of preventive dentistry is visiting us regularly here at the practice. We recommend regular check-ups – anywhere from every three to 18 months, depending on the individual patient – and examinations so that we can keep a close eye on your overall oral health and spot any issues that might arise in the early stages.
We also recommend visiting one of our dedicated and highly skilled dental hygienists on a regular basis. Our hygienists will be able to remove any build-up of plaque or tartar that may have occurred, as well as give the teeth a thorough, professional clean. They’re also trained to spot signs of gum disease and can help you create an at-home care routine that works for you.
