Like with anything, it doesn’t last forever. It will need care and maintenance with regular cleaning and flossing around the bonding. Thin areas of bonding can chip and break and might need to be replaced, and occasionally, stains can build up, which need to be polished.
This treatment can be performed in just one appointment. There is very rarely any reason to use injections or drilling when carrying out composite bonding, so the whole experience is quick and comfortable for the patient.
