There are several different bridge types available, and we’ll be able to recommend which is most suitable for you and your needs at a consultation.
The most commonly placed bridges include:
- Traditional Bridges: these bridges comprise a set of prosthetic teeth held in place by crowns on either side, which are then attached to the adjacent healthy teeth.
- Maryland Bonded Bridges: with these bridges, the prosthetic teeth are held in place by a metal framework that is bonded to the back of the adjacent healthy teeth or teeth.
- Cantilever Bridges: these bridges use just one healthy tooth to hold the prosthetic teeth in place and are a good option for replacing teeth closer to the front of the mouth.
