Floss and tape
Floss is probably the first thing that people try when thinking about cleaning in between. Dental tape is wider and flatter less likely to snag or catch and a bit more user-friendly. Flossing does require a certain amount of manual dexterity and technique and is best for cleaning teeth that are fairly close together.
Interdental brushes
There are a few choices here, some have bristles and some look like little rubber Christmas trees and are ideal for bigger gaps.
Water flossers
These spray a steady stream of water to flush out food and plaque. The pressure settings are usually adjustable and use a combination of water pulses and water pressure and may be a good choice for anyone with implants as it is gentler on the soft gum tissue.
Wooden interdental sticks
If you are looking for something that is recyclable and eco-friendly these are for you. Look out for bamboo interdental brushes and toothbrushes.
